Jeff Hellman has represented Debtors, Unsecured Creditors, Secured Creditors, Indenture Trustees, Creditors’ Committees, Receivers, Trustees, and Transferees in commercial bankruptcies. He has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of adversary proceedings and contested matters, including, confirmation hearings, preference actions, fraudulent transfer cases, nondischargeability litigation and valuation disputes. Jeff has also represented investors and transferees in proceedings under the Securities Investor Protection Act.

A long standing member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, Jeff frequently lectures on bankruptcy litigation issues, ethics and fraudulent transfer law at both the Norton Bankruptcy Litigation Institute and the Connecticut Bar Association.
